Before I met Mary, I possessed issues regarding conflict, decision-making, and doing what was right for myself. I had dealt with relationships that were tearing me apart mentally and emotionally and it was starting to take a toll on my life. After letting her know what I was going through, Mary gave me advice on how I should approach the problems and people I was up against. Taking her advice has impacted me to this day allowing me to be my own person and have the strength to decide what is right for me. I went from anxious everyday to a non-stop feeling of freedom and happiness because I was able to take on the world. None of that would have been possible if it were not for Mary to guide me through it.

Hello, my name is Isiah. I have known Mary for about 5 years now. She is one of my most favorite people to be around. She has helped me go through my hormone changes during high school and helped me come out of my shell. Without her I probably wouldn’t be as social as I am now. All of the advice she’s given me has proved to be useful even to this day. I think of her as my second mom. From the first day I met her, she tried her best to make me feel comfortable and at ease and even treated me and whoever happened to be around her as one of her own. I am really glad to have her in my life.

I would like to take a moment to share my thoughts of gratitude. I met a special lady, Mary, through a boyfriend’s job site. He was hired by her to complete some various jobs as her handyman. Always tagging along offering my help, I met a unique woman with many sorts of gentle, giving, beauty. I spent some time with Mary chatting, laughing and enjoying her bubbly personality. We became friends. I then was even honored to meet her daughter, Alix, whom was much like her mother. Having both of them as friends was even more special. We spent time again together enjoying each others company until I was saddened to hear that they would soon be moving out of the area. I really was torn to see them leaving. While getting ready to make their move, Mary asked if I would like some of her things. I felt so grateful that she chose me to share her beautiful possessions with! I sure felt like a lucky girl! Her things were given to me with such love that I could feel it so sincerely! We did not have the best of furniture or items that would make a house a home, raising two girls on a handyman income. Her generosity not only meant the world to us but came from the most loving heart! Today, and everyday, as I sit on my couches and think of her I sure wish Mary was still here! I will always treasure having a sincere, generous and such a fun human being in my life!!!
Ellen, Full-Time Worker and Full-Time Mother
I met Mary almost 10 years ago. I knew then there was something different about her, I just wasn’t sure what, but I definitely was sticking around to find out. Over the years her loyalty and friendship have been like no other. She has a way of being tenacious, loving, and motivating all at the same time. Her friendship has become my family and irreplaceable to me. Not everyone has been blessed to have someone like Mary in his or her life, but I have been, and I am nothing short than truly grateful.

Mary came into my life when I needed direction. I had recently ended my 25 year marriage, my mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer and I had lost my brother-in-law to cancer. Amidst all of this I was searching for something more. Spiritually, I felt empty. Then I met Mary and my life has never been the same. One of the things Mary taught me was to be BOLD. The old me is gone and a better version of me is here today. I’m now so excited to see what the future holds for me!

When I met Mary, I knew instantly that she was the kind of person who goes above and beyond to be helpful and encouraging to others. Mary has a warm heart, a caring soul and the gift of encouragement. She cares deeply for those around her and is ready and willing to lend a hand to those in need. I believe that no matter what she sets her sights on, she will succeed and all the while those whose lives she touches along the way will be lifted up to become better people because of Mary. I know I was.

Having known Mary since the late 1990’s I can attest to her endless concern for wellbeing. Healthy lifestyles, a willing to help those in need, along with a positive mental attitude have always been at the forefront of her personality. 15 years ago, I was struggling to name my new massage therapy practice, and she recommended I use my name: Just my name. It was one of the best things I could have done!!! She will always be a
business/life mentor to me, and I am proud to call her my friend!
